**Overview**
Are you an experienced van delivery Driver? Are you a roofing contractor looking to transition to merchanting and help others benefit from your product knowledge? Then this could be the role for you Based in Kettering, we are looking for an experienced van driver to join our team This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**
- Delivery of roofing products to customers across the region.
- Complete all vehicle checks at the start of every shift and report any defects or damages.
- Ensure all delivery notes are completed to the required standard.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare orders for dispatch by picking, packing, and labelling items accurately.
- Maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified) to facilitate movement of goods.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels and any issues that may arise.
- Support delivery operations by driving a van or lorry when needed for local deliveries.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus for those involved in delivery tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of work quality.
- Clean driving licence
- Forklift licence desireable
