Procurement Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment for garden room construction projects
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and track deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of materials
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries and ensure materials are delivered to project sites on time
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or deliveries
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and potential cost savings
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and pricing

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in SAGE would be an advantage

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
