GTRF is also investing in future-ready solutions such as digitization of Receivables Finance and Trade Loans to support the shifts in market trends, customer expectations and the impact of digitization in the trade and receivables finance space.

We are looking for a bright talent to lead GTRF Product & Propositions for the UK Ring Fenced Bank (RFB), HSBC Group’s largest GTRF market.

In addition to being a key member of the UK GTRF Executive Committee, this role is also a part of the Global GTRF Product and Propositions leadership team.

This job oversees Product & Propositions covering strategy, execution and commercialisation for the UK across all our GTRF solutions (documentary trade, trade loans, guarantees, Receivables Finance, Supply Chain Finance and commodities structures).

The role manages a team of 7 across product management, product governance and digital solutions team. The role works closely with frontline RMs, BDMs and Risk and Services colleagues in the region and global product & propositions teams.

The base location for this role can be London or Birmingham with a Hybrid working model.

In this role, you will:

- Be accountable for deploying and commercializing market leading products for CMB clients in RFB along with coverage and GTRF sales colleagues ensuring alignment with the strategy, plan, and internal operational requirements;
- Actively drive discovery and design of new products/ material amendments to existing products alongside Global product, IT, transformation and Risk functions;
- Be accountable for content of all aspects of client propositions activity, including benchmarking against competitors;
- Ensure product designs create competitive advantages and withstand competitive threats. Sponsor product development and processing initiatives in response to market changes and/or identified opportunities;
- Manage the marketing and communication Product agenda to provide creative means for improving client and staff awareness;
- Manage internal and external governance, and associated processes ensuring coordination with other HSBC governance forums / stakeholders as required;
- Orient and work closely with GTRF Sales, Coverage Relationship Managers and Risk stewards to be able to get their support on strategic product rollouts and deal commercialization;
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Broad knowledge of the trends in the financial supply chain and receivables finance area as they impact on Corporate and SME clients;
- In-depth understanding of the UK market with regards to Trade and Receivable Finance propositions, evolution of these solutions with respect to innovation and competitor landscape;
- Thorough understanding of digital and emerging technology solutions in Trade and Receivables finance;
- Strong experience of driving commercial outcomes working direclty with clients in frontline, structuring or product roles;
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels internally and externally;
- Detailed understanding of Project Management methodologies, with a track record of Change Management - confident in challenging business-as-usual operating models and a proven ability to move project initiatives forward in a cross-functional and matrixed organisational model;
