MRP/procurement Administrator

Our client requires a strong Procurement Administrator to assist the HEAD of OPERATIONS with all administration aspects of the Supply Chain.
Duties will include:
MRP and work order administration in support of the MRP Planner.
Purchase Order quotation, placement administration, full cycle maintenance and expedition in line with pre-approved spend authorities.
Entering and maintaining work orders against sales order demand.
Processing work orders, pick lists, despatch notes and invoices.
Return to Vendor (RTV) material authorisation processing.
Entering data and processing transactions onto the companies MRP system.
Order entry and maintenance.
Keeping customers regularly informed on sales order and service progress and status.
Progressing requests for payment.
Assisting with the compilation and reporting of key performance indicators and target service levels.
Supporting mínimal paper / maximum digital office environment with scanning and file maintenance of documents.

This position is initially for a 6 month contract and requires someone who is available to start work immediately
