**Sales and Marketing Manager**

As **Sales and Marketing manager** in a newly created role, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow the commercial team and your responsibilities in the company. You will be leading all aspects of our sales and marketing with responsibilityfor both new business and growing existing customers. Our client is looking for an ambitious sales and marketing professional to lead out future growth and shape our products and services to increase our customer base and maximise sales with existing clients.

You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a key role in the development of products and services as well as control over the management of key accounts to give clear insight and understanding into transport and logistics industry trendsand requirements.

**Duties (include but are not limited to)**

Sales/New Business Development:

- Managing tariffs and pricing strategies in line with company financial targets
- Undertaking customer surveys and reporting on competitors and market activity
- Initiating key account development plans to grow sales with existing customers
- Working with Operations and Customer Service teams
- Researching and developing new sectors and prospects
- Prospecting, qualifying, and responding to sales leads
- Co-ordinating and driving sales activities using our CRM (Pipedrive)
- Creating, writing and presenting new customer and business proposals

Marketing, Branding & Communications:

- Initiating marketing strategies to align and support the company’s Vision and 10-Year Plan
- Managing the marketing budget
- Defining the components and processes of their sales engine
- Creating imaginative social media posts and campaigns to grow their external brand
- Initiating and preparing Awards entries
- Developing and managing new content for our website
- Supporting our internal brand awareness communications campaigns

**Person Specification**
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a marketing role
- 1 years’ experience with CRM (preferably pipeline)
- MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
- Educated to degree level
- Full Drivers licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful; able to work on own initiative
- Well-organised and analytical approach
- Curious; dynamic; able to see beyond the obvious
