James Kok Lighting is a local independent family business with over 20 years’ experience in the Interior Lighting Industry in the wider Preston area.

We have an opportunity available for an individual who has excellent communication and organisation skills who can help us expand our operations. Ideal for someone who wishes to get into the Lighting Industry or who has a passion for interiors as we also work with other interior design/kitchen companies.

Working hours would be 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 30 min lunch break provided.

Parking is available on site and close proximity to shops for lunch if eating out.

The Job would be to carry out the following roles:

- Greeting and presenting to clients.
- Suggesting products to clients to help drive a sale.
- Creating documents for clients, such as moodboards & pricelists.
- Answering the phone.
- Creating and sending invoices.
- Organising the Showroom/storeroom.
- Assisting the rest of the office with any tasks wherever possible.

A Drivers License is a must as we also commute to clients and the storeroom.

Previous experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook needed. More specialist software such as Photoshop would be ideal.

Existing technical knowledge about lighting is desirable but full training will be provided.

The opportunity is to be office based in Fulwood, Preston.

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour
