An industry leading, multinational professional services business is looking to recruit an outstanding BI Analyst to be based in Central London.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the BI Analyst will be primarily responsible for producing best in class Data Analytics and creating valuable insight required by various internal business stakeholders in order to support critical business decisions.

BI Analyst Responsibilities:

- Understand key financial and growth drivers of the business and provide data driven guidance on key levers
- Gathering information from various sources within the business and extrapolating it into structured data that can be analysed to provide greater commercial insights to business stakeholder
- Create and maintain excel models, transforming raw data into high level analysis and ensuring scalability and integrity of the data models
- Discover, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and deliver insights to a variety of stakeholders (finance and non-finance) in a way that aligns with the commercial drivers of the business
- Identify and drive key improvements and automation to processes and reporting
- Support the Firm in a progression towards a self-service dominated reporting suite, encouraging a dynamic approach to management information
- Identify and specify data needs and quality requirements and work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data is available, accurate and corresponds to the business needs
- 3-5 years of experience within a commercial finance environment that relies upon data driven decision making
- Process and KPI driven approach to work
- Effective communicator with both senior management and peers
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills are essential
- Knowledge of SQL required
- Familiarity with data visualisation using Power BI or other visualisation tools
