Head of Technical:
Are you feeling limited?
Maybe you’ve reached your ceiling point with your current Technical management role, itching to have more customer interaction or possibly you’d like to gain more strategic exposure or even build a function. You want to stop spending all your time fire fighting on the shop floor. Well, a role does exist that might be for you.

This Head of Technical position will play a pivotal role in sites success. You will need to be comfortable having difficult conversations, highlighting potential issues and be excellent at maintaining and developing relationships. In this position, you will be ensuring product quality from raw materials through to finished goods.

Key requirements:

- Leading customer service
- Ensuring technical compliance throughout the supply chain
- Working closely with Commercial, Procurement & Operations
- Overseeing quality management through from raw materials to customers
- Supplier approval whilst working with the compliance team
- Upholding commercial relationships
- Delivering the team
- Deploying the Technical strategy

Experience needed:

- Previous leadership experience in a technical function
- Strong experience with QMS & food safety
- Customer facing experience
- Happy to train and develop team members
- Driving site standards
- A number of years within technical management

We believe this role could be suitable for a Senior Technical Manager, Group Technical Manager or a currently Head of Technical or a similar level looking for a change.
