We have a great opportunity for a **Head of Safety, Health, Environment, Assurance, Risk & Resilience Manager**. As part of our **hybrid working** **approach, this role offers a mix of office working in** Solihull **and home working.

Lead the development of the metering health and safety fair safety culture, environmental sustainability strategy, readiness to respond to a business continuity event, robust risk governance and proportionate assurance to enable the optimal delivery of intended business outcomes. Lead on the continual improvement to health, safety and environmental management, ensuring balanced treatment of risk and compliance with various applicable legislation whilst seeking ways of embedding internal and external learning to establish and implement opportunities to continually improve our business.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead, motivate, inspire and develop health, safety, environmental, assurance, business continuity and risk professionals
- Develop and implement the safety fair culture model for our business to embed a positive reinforcement way of way ensuring reporting, embedding of learning and ongoing trust
- Lead the establishment, implementation and continual improvement of the health, safety & environmental strategy and management systems
- Lead the development and implementation of the environmental sustainability strategy to identify and reduce our environmental impact and adapt to future proof our business
- Develop, implement and continual improvement of risk governance and risk management to ensure the timely identification, evaluation and on-going proportionate treatment of identified risks
- Lead on the establishment, implementation and continual improvement of business continuity arrangements to ensure a timely response, recovery and resume identified time-bound critical services and processes
- Ongoing engagement with external stakeholders, including enforcing bodies, on our approach to safety, health, environment, assurance, risk and resilience
- Oversee the holistic assurance programme across the three lines of defence including external assessments, to ensure proportionate and effective means of assurance across our business
- Ensure the continued certification and accreditation to external health, safety and environmental certification and accreditation

Experienced lead auditor professional** in three lines of defence model, creating assurance programmes and facilitating external assessments

Ability to think in a structured way **and proactively manage delivery

Experience of bringing thought leadership to the identification**, management and leveraging of learning, opportunities and relationships
- **
A full clean uk driving licence**
