**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
For Assessor:

- Assess learners' work against qualification standards and provide constructive feedback.
- Review assessment materials to ensure they meet qualification specifications and standards.
- Provide support and guidance to learners throughout their qualification journey.
- Maintain accurate records of learners' progress and assessment decisions.
- Ensure timely and fair assessments in accordance with the awarding body's guidelines.
- Participate in standardisation meetings to ensure consistency in assessment practices.

For IQA:

- Conduct internal quality assurance activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Provide support and guidance to assessors to maintain quality and consistency in assessment practices.
- Carry out sampling of learner work to ensure accuracy and consistency of assessment decisions.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any quality assurance issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities.
- Assist in the development and improvement of assessment and quality assurance processes.

**Requirements**:
For Assessor:

- Qualification in Business Studies or a related field (Level 3 or higher).
- Assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/33, or equivalent).
- Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Previous experience in tutoring or assessing in Business Studies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using Gmail, Google Drive, MS Word, and other relevant software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.

For IQA:

- Qualification in Business Studies or a related field (Level 3 or higher).
- Internal Verifier qualification (e.g., IQA, IV, V1, or equivalent).
- Experience in internal quality assurance within the education sector, particularly in Business Studies qualifications.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards governing vocational qualifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.

**Additional Information**:

- This is a freelance position with a zero-hour contract.
- The role offers flexibility in terms of working hours and location.
- Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
