**Description**

Are you ready to kickstart your career in accountancy? Join us as a Graduate Trainee Accountant in Stockport. In this role, you will embark on a journey of learning and development, gaining hands-on experience while working alongside seasoned professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assisting with audit fieldwork, including profit and loss transaction testing, balance sheet transaction testing, and tracing transactions through primary records.
Contributing to the preparation of accounts for small limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
Familiarising yourself with various accounting software such as Xero, SAGE, and QuickBooks.
Collaborating with team members on larger audit assignments and gaining exposure to tax computations.

**Key Requirements**

Motivation to pursue ACA or ACCA qualifications.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work methodically.
Proficiency in Excel and basic IT software packages.
A valid driving license and access to a car.
