You’ll be working for a leading consumer lender that is enjoying a period of sustained growth. The firm is very ambitious, and the compliance department is expanding (as seen by the creation of this new role). And that means there will be good opportunities for you to progress your career.

You’ll support the delivery of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring programmes, with a particular focus on credit, affordability, and approval of supplier relationships. You’ll undertake monitoring of internal credit decisions and review a sample of collections decisions and activities, with a focus on vulnerable customers and repayment planning assessments. This is where your credit underwriting experience will be really useful

You’ll have gained some strong credit underwriting experience within a consumer lending business and have an appreciation of the associated regulatory requirements. You’ll also need excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
