As our Quality Assurer at the assessment centre, you will make sure all Assessors and Role Play Actors (RPAs) perform their roles effectively and in line with the guidance provided. In this role you'll be observing the assessors and RPAs during the assessmentcentre exercises, either online or face to face, to ensure they are working in a fair and consistent way.

**What you will be doing**:

- Build strong working relationships with the assessment team, stakeholders and applicants, as it is really important to provide a first class experience
- Carry out Quality Assurance to assess Assessors and Role Play Actors (RPA) to ensure they are working in a fair and objective way
- Assess the performance of Assessors/RPA's in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures, ensuring overall standards are maintained
- Ensure Assessors and RPA's are offered the opportunity to demonstrate the level of competence required for their allocated role.
- Keep detailed records of Quality Assurance activities to meet verification standards.
- Feedback to the Assessment Centre Manager any individuals of concern
- Undertake training and refresher training courses when required, as well as lead training of new assessors as required, with a dedication to maintain professional development.
- Report all risks and issues encountered during the assessment
- Contribute to the external and internal Quality Assurance activities
- Attend and contribute to calibration meetings

**Key responsibilities for the assessor role**:

- Set up assessment rooms if onsite, ensuring correct material is available
- Ensure readiness if onsite or online at the appointed time at the start of each assessment day.
- Maintain records of assessment activities to meet internal or national verification standards

- Ability to assess, free from bias and report risks
- IT proficiency is a requirement, but training will be provided however you must be willing to use a laptop or tablet for recording assessment notes
- High attention to detail

**It would be great if you had**:

- Professional QCF assessor qualifications, or alternatively, the equivalent national NVQ assessor awards
