**Summary**

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Redditch Medical. This role is pivotal in overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient materials handling, and maintaining high standards of logistics and team management. The position is based in Newton Aycliffe, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Supervision**:
Oversee and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluation, and workload assignments.
- **Inventory Management**:
Manage inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
- **Shipping and Receiving**:
Oversee the receiving of goods, the storage of inventory, and the dispatch of shipments.
- **Safety**:
Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- **Coordination**:
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- **Problem Solving**:
Address any issues or concerns that arise during warehouse operations.
- **Communication**:
Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, other departments, and customers.
- **Documentation**:
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant information.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Leadership and Supervisory Skills**: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and manage performance.
- **Organizational and Time Management Skills**: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and ensure that deadlines are met.
- **Inventory Management Skills**: Understanding of inventory management principles and procedures.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other departments.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
- **Computer Skills**: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
- **ERP Systems**: Working Knowledge of SYSPRO or similar ERP System.
- **Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving Procedures**: Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures and protocols.
- **Safety Knowledge**: Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, ideally with supervisory or management experience.
- **Forklift Licenses** - Up to date Reach / Counter Balance / Bendy Truck - preferred

Salary will be based on experience but will be competitive
