**About the role and our team**

Are you passionate about education support and looking for a rewarding role which makes a positive impact? Join our team as a Senior Education Support Officer within the Specialist Provision Centre at Onchan Primary School

Within this role, you will provide a teaching and learning approach that is tailored to support each pupil’s individual complex learning needs.

Under the guidance of the Specialist Provision Centre Manager, you will work closely with our team to plan and deliver aspects of the curriculum for pupils who may have social/emotional, behavioural, physical, sensory and/or learning difficulties.

You will support, follow and contribute to individual education plans, working with small groups or one to one with pupils. You will also set up activities for the day and take pupils out on trips, helping them learn life skills.

Here at Onchan, we specialise in providing an individualised provision for children with Autism. Seals is a happy and lively unit with a varied and physically active timetable.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and hardworking, with knowledge and understanding of working with children with Special Educational Needs.
