**Band 8c Programme Lead - Adult Community Mental Health Transformation**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The post holder will act as a senior leader in the Trust covering the adult community mental health transformation portfolio. The role will take a lead on development and delivery of the Trust’s adult community MH transformation programme work and ensurea co-production approach is embedded in all new services and programmes of change. Organisational, planning, service redesign and stakeholder engagement skills are key to successful delivery. The post-holder will be integral to the Adult Community ServiceLine and the Strategy, Transformation and Commercial Team in the Trust. The post-holder will need to develop strong relationships with external stakeholders working in adult mental health, and place leaders across the SWL boroughs.

**Pay Rates**:£38 - £45 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday

**Experience and Knowledge**:

- Experience of working at senior level in a leadership role in the NHS for 5 years.
- Experience of working with senior leaders and Executives, providing advice and recommendations
- Experience of designing and delivering transformation programmes.
- Experience of managing and delivering projects to deadline and achieving stated benefits and outcomes.
- Experience of conducting demand and capacity modelling and data analysis.
- Experience of leading and managing service developments and change programmes.
- Proven experience of working with a range of stakeholders and building successful partnership relationships.
- Experience of working in matrix management arrangements and with complex service structures.
- Experience of liaising with commissioners and external stakeholders.

**Key area for achievement**:

- Delivering the Trust-wide adult mental health transformation programme to achieve benefits for service users and our wider system
- Supporting the input of internal and external clinical stakeholders to set out a clear future model of service delivery in line with LTP ambitions and frameworks
- Ensuring co-production and engagement with service users and carers is a key element to transformation and new services within the organisation
- Positioning the Trust positively within the external environment and ensuring relationships with key community stakeholders are positively developed and maintained. Aligning relationships with Place leaders and place based structures and ensuring the adultcommunity MH transformation work supports the ICS and places
- Ensuring this work aligns to and supports the delivery of the 4 Trust strategic ambitions - reducing lost years, reducing health inequalities, making the Trust a great place to work and ensuring sustainability.
- Acting as an expert resource for service redesign and review.
- Leading any associated transformation and redesign staff as appropriate.
- Encouraging the implementation of innovation.

**KEY RESULT AREAS**:
**(1)Adult Community mental health transformation delivery**
- Work with the Deputy Director of Operations, Director of Strategy & Commercial Development, the Chief Operating Officer and Adult Community Service Line leadership team to oversee delivery of the Trust-wide adult community mental health transformation programme.
- Support review of current adult community service delivery and support the Community Service Line to implement quality improvement.
- Work with Community Service Line colleagues to support adult community service change to support the new core model for SMI and pathways. Liaise with colleagues to support enabling programmes of work such as workforce development, recruitment, trainingand leadership development.
- Consider the implications of and for All Age pathways of care where relevant for adult service transformation, for example, in terms of transition and specialist pathways such as Eating Disorders.

**Strategic and programme support**
- Ensure the adult community mental health transformation is effectively reported into the Trust-wide Integrated Programme via the Associate Director for Transformation and the Integrated Programme Office.
- Develop and maintain appropriate project and programme management documentation related to the adult community mental health transformation including plans, risk registers, issue logs and scoping documents.
- Ensure impact assessments are identified and carried out for any potential service changes.
- Ensure that the adult community mental health transformation work is considered through the Trust business planning cycle specifically in terms of developing investment proposals and forming part of the Trust’s annual corporate objectives and CommunityService Line business plan.
