- **_ Lead with Vision_**: As our Natural Capital lead, you will be the technical and professional cornerstone of our clients’ projects, guiding the team toward innovative environmental solutions.

- **_Interdisciplinary Collaboration:_** Work closely with sister disciplines in, ecology, arboriculture, forestry, landscapes and design, embracing a holistic approach to project challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- To lead and work directly with the wider Nicholsons team in advising clients on their current Natural Capital baseline and opportunities and how these can be developed in line with emerging ecosystems services markets.
- Working alongside our landowner and developer clients on opportunities within this new and exciting sector, exploring opportunities to develop innovative, viable and diverse revenue streams.
- Develop a core understanding of established and emerging markets around Carbon Sequestration, Biodiversity Net Gain, Flood Protection, Nutrient Neutrality and Regenerative Agriculture.
- Provide regular reporting and training across the wider business to ensure that Natural Capital engages with and supports all of Nicholsons wider business activities.
- Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking and have a proven track record in project delivery and management.
- Have experience in Rural Estate Management, and a wide understanding of the rural economy.
- Have a working knowledge and/or keen interest in Natural Capital and environmental uses of land.
- Have a good understanding of development planning policy as it relates to the environment, in particular, in terms of Biodiversity Net Gain, Environmental Impact Assessments and Green Infrastructure.
- Have a proven transactional skill set.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Salary will depend on experience.
