This is a non-regulated, managerial, B2B, Specialist Markets - employee benefits role. As a team leader, you'll deliver assigned work, in conjunction with managing the team and ensuring Client Excellence
**What you'll be doing**
- Expanding existing client delivery remit, embracing process improvement and coaching support of the wider teams.
- Ensuring outstanding client delivery without boundaries between roles, business areas or specialism and represent the Client's interests in all decisions and business processes.
- Building and maintaining an engaged, motivated and highly skilled team driven to outperform competitors and ensure client retention.
- Coordinating the efforts of all assigned staff involved in client delivery across the Risk & Healthcare team, spanning teams as needed.
- Participating in regular client contact and administration team liaison to obtain vital process and performance feedback enabling enhancements.
**Key Accountabilities/Deliverables**
- Working with and developing the Account Executives and the Technical Consultants towards creation of a ‘one team’ culture, where everyone operates with the client in mind - flexibly, to the same standards, processes and timeframes.
- Identifying skills gaps and strengths across teams, drawing on the team itself to broaden knowledge and deepen expertise across the group.
- Ensuring interaction with the administration/finance/support teams is effective and timely and that best practice learning is cascaded to the rest of the team.
- Supporting Performance & Development of assigned team members informally and formally to ensure each Team member is aware of their own development plan, goals and objectives.
- Developing effective internal and external relationships to assist in providing an efficient professional service to clients in line with service agreements and manage their expectations on work being undertaken
Plus any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role.
**What we are looking for**:
**Technical Knowledge and Understanding**:
- Employee benefits expertise, team leadership, consistent track record in Risk & Health, excellent communication, and regulatory awareness.
- Developing others core consulting skills around communication, questioning, listening, report writing and presenting
- IT literate - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant internal systems/databases
- Awareness of the regulatory requirements in respect of ‘advised’ and ‘non-advised’ sales, and in particular evidencing the standards and knowledge required in respect of giving advice and making recommendations to customers.
**Experience and Skills**:
- Previous experience of managing a team is desirable as well as, a strong desire to support Client delivery and pursue a career managing others to do the same is essential
- Solid track record in Risk & Health delivering for clients
- Good customer service and relationship building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally
- Excellent organisation skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation
**Desirable**:
QCF Level 4 (Diploma level PFS or PMI) qualification
CII Certificate level qualifications
