Ram Rugby are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join the friendly and hardworking team at our office and warehouse in Send, Near Guildford.

The company has evolved from its origins as a mail order business servicing clubs and schools into an online and account managed business supplying both B2B and DTC. The business is based in Send in Surrey and currently has 21 employee’s working across Warehouse Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

**Position Description**

The Warehouse Team Leader will have responsibility for the smooth day to day running of the company 8,000sft warehouse. This includes leading the accurate booking in of deliveries, maintaining records of stock locations, ensuring a tidy and safe warehouse and the picking and packing of orders.

The role is hands on but includes the leading of two warehouse assistants.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to work in a small but fast paced ecommerce business.

**Reporting To**: Operations Manager

**Key Areas of Responsibility**

1. Stock in

a. Receiving new stock accurately and efficiently via containers, pallets, and single parcels

b. Checking for damaged shipments and reporting any discrepancies

c. Receiving of product returns

2. Warehouse management

a. Racking of products

b. Maintaining accurate records of stock by location

c. Ensuring warehouse is kept tidy

3. Picking and Packing

a. Accurate picking and packing of orders

b. Accurate picking of products to be shipped to 3rd party warehouses

4. Stock Take

a. Full stock takes

b. Rolling stock checks

5. Heath & Safety

a. Ensure heath and safety in the warehouse is followed at all times

6. Team Management

a. Management of direct reports

b. Recruiting and training as necessary

7. Reporting

a. Monitor and successfully attain key metrics each day that drive speed and accuracy from the team

**The successful Warehouse Team Leader will ideally have**:

- A forklift licence and ideally experience on a Bendi FLT
- Warehouse Team Leader Experience
- Experience of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
- Enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to respond positively to changing demands
- A tidy and organised approach to work and the work environment
- Computer Literacy
- A team player attitude
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.

**In return, the successful Warehouse Team Leader will receive**:

- A salary £28,000 per annuum
- An annual bonus based on company and individual performance
- Company pension scheme
- Working hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
- Free on-site parking
- 22 days annual leave, increasing after 3 years service, plus bank holidays and an additional holiday for your birthday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
