**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Material Procurement**: Source, negotiate, and procure materials and services for both general construction and RC frame projects. Ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to meet project needs.
- **Supplier Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, focusing on securing high-quality materials within budget. Regularly review supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- **Cost Control**: Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and conditions for all materials and services. Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
- **Market Analysis**: Monitor market trends and conditions in both general construction and RC frame sectors to identify potential risks and opportunities. Align procurement strategies with current market realities.
- **Project Collaboration**: Work closely with project managers, site teams, and the wider procurement team to coordinate material requirements, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- **Compliance & Documentation**: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, health and safety standards, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and contracts.
- **Credit Account and Invoice Management**: Oversee and verify the accuracy of credit accounts, invoices, statements, and prices, ensuring consistency with agreed terms and conditions.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in procurement in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, suppliers, and subcontractors within the general construction materials sector as well as the RC frame and groundwork industry.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Desirable Qualities**:

- CIPS qualification or equivalent procurement certification.
- Experience with large-scale construction projects, including those involving RC frame and groundwork.
- Knowledge of modern construction methods and sustainable procurement practices.

Pay: £54,881.00-£60,834.00 per year
