Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to work with one of our well-established and very successful clients based in Peterborough working as part of their Sales and Commercial team.
As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for Commercial and Sales, Customer and Order and Stock Management.
You will work on a variety of client project at any one time, from initial brief to product launch managing all processes in between.
The business is a FMCG manufacturer working with a wide range of large, blue chip companies.
**Principle Responsibilities for the Commercial Manager:
- **
- Line Management of the relevant commercial team
- Initiate and drive a strategic trading sales plan in each key account to maximise the business and total sales
- Identifying and actively pursuing new product/category opportunities.
- Full profit and loss management for each key account
- Review and ApproveProduct Costings with Commercial Team
- Review and Approve quotations to send to customers
- Price negotiation with customers
- Monitoring EPOS reports for the business and highlighting areas of growth and decline
- Monitoring New Product Development, ensuring BDM/BDE's hand over is timely and complete
- Managing the key account interface with customer teams to include buyers, technical & product managers and supply teams.
- Understanding of customer processes + requirements of a vendor; including supplier KPI's
- Reviewing forecasts from customers on a regular basis to understand future business requirements.
- Tracking budget V forecast
- Ensuring that Sales Order Dates are checked before adding to the IBS and achievable
**Person specification:
- **
- Previous experience of working within a Commercially focused management position.
- Previous experience of working in a FMCG Manufacturer.
- Direct team management experience.
- Ideally previous experience of working with large retailers.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Results focused individual who works well in fast paced environments.
This is a full time permanent Commercial Manager position.
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Hybrid or Remote based working available depending on location and experience. (Must be UK based due to potential client meetings)
Salary on offer is between £50,000 to £65,000
