Customer Account Manager
Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
Hours - Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
HB Commercial are working alongside one of the leading design and manufacturing companies in its sector. With over 45 years of experience of designing and manufacturing they provide a full range of services internationally and throughout the UK.
They are now seeking to recruit a Customer Account Manager to join their successful team in the Peterborough area.
Role and responsibility but not limited to:

- To handle and process sales from initial enquiry through to aftersales support
- Provide detailed and accurate quotations
- Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales
- Respond to customer queries
- Communicating effectively with customers to deliver a high level of customer service
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Attending on-site as required
- Log enquiries and orders on the various IT systems ensuring that supplies are ordered and tracked when relevant
- Help monitor, maintain, and post on social media pages
- General office support to the team and to complete any other tasks that are deemed as reasonable
- To communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- To effectively manage your own time, priorities, and workload
- Be willing to learn new software / equipment and attend training as and when required for the business
- To conduct yourself and carry out any work for the business in line with procedures
Skills and experience
- Highly organised with sharp attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Be able to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
- Ability to listen, negotiate and instil trust and confidence
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Excellent planning skills
