Learning Support Assistant - Bolton
Full time - Temporary to permanent
Starting as soon as possible
Salary - £70.00 to £85.00 per day
As a LSA you could expect to work in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils with social and emotional needs, ADHD, and ASD. You would work with the pupils inside and outside of the classroom supporting them with a range of activities.
As the successful Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant, you may have had experience working with children for different settings such as;
- Sports coaches
- Swim coaches
- Performing arts coaches
- Clubs - scouts, brownies, etc
- Volunteer reading with children in schools (lots of parents do this)
- 121/PRU work
- Tutoring
- Social workers
- Foster carers
- Family support workers
- Healthcare - some links to SEN
- Police/army cadet trainers
- Summer/activity camps
- Church education
