**Job description**

Monday to Friday. 8.30 - 3.30pm

Sennen Education are recruiting for Learning Support Assistant and SEN Teaching Assistants on behalf of a fantastic SEN School and College in Bolton.

The successful LSA will work with the college SENCo and Assistant SENCo to undertake work, care and support programmes to facilitate learning of students.

The role will entail working with a range of school aged students supporting inside and outside of the classroom. You will be supporting children and adults with varied SEND including complex needs.

**Key skills**:

- To have a good knowledge and understanding of autism and social communication needs and appropriate strategies to support pupils with such needs.
- To have knowledge and understanding of social, emotional & mental health needs and cognitive needs, that affect children and young people’s development.
- Excellent listening skills
- An ability to build strong, trusting relationships
- To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning
- Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in the learning activities
- To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

We recruit for permanent and temporary positions across Manchester. By taking a temporary role through Sennen Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to £90.00 per day
