Supported by practice policies, protocols and guidelines, the phlebotomy duties will include the following: Phlebotomy & Anticoagulation therapy monitoring Home visits to undertake phlebotomy and anticoagulation monitoring therapy Provide education, support and signposting within your remit To administer influenza vaccinations under Patient specific direction (PSD) on the instruction of a regulated professional. Respond appropriately in the rare event of an adverse reaction to vaccination, including the provision of basic life support and seeking urgent senior clinical support. To act as a chaperone when required.

Cleaning and maintenance of clinical equipment Cold chain maintenance and recording Vaccines and medicine stock control Assisting in clinical data collection To maintain accurate and contemporaneous records to relevant professional standards.
