The Crisis Response Service in East London is looking for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner: Registered Mental Health Nurse or Allied Health Professional to join our Mental Health Crisis Response Service.
The Mental Health Crisis Response Service will be a key component of the overall Crisis Pathway meeting the demands of the Long Term Plan in providing Crisis Response. Clinicians employed into the Crisis Response Service will be a part of an exciting and developing service aimed at supporting the residents of Tower Hamlets experiencing a mental health crisis. The role involves primarily operating the mental health crisis line and carrying out face to face crisis assessments.
We require clinicians who are confident with working at a fast-pace and in assessing and managing risk in the least restrictive way. Clinicians will need to demonstrate compassion, sound clinical skills and knowledge of managing risk.
The successful applicants will participate in a 7 day duty rota with a variety of shift patterns including night duty. This is a 365 days per year service. We are seeking clinicians who are innovative to work with the team with the aim of providing a gold standard service. Our work is rewarding and varied with plenty of opportunities to develop learn new skills. The team is supportive and has strong leadership direction.
