Mental Health Practitioner – Waltham Forest, London – ASAP Start

Are you passionate about supporting the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children with special educational needs? This welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest, London, is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join their team from ASAP.

Key Responsibilities of a Mental Health Practitioner:

  • Work alongside the SENDCo and teaching staff to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.

  • Promote mental wellbeing across the classroom and school community.

Essential Criteria for a Mental Health Practitioner:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK University.

  • Strong interest in mental health, education, and supporting vulnerable children.

  • Experience working with children affected by SEMH in a care or support role.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
