**Job Overview**:
Axon Moore are currently working alongside a high growth Business Services firm based in South Manchester who are looking to bring in a Financial Controller into a fast paced and dynamic environment. Continuing their aggressive growth story, this newly createdposition will report directly into the Managing Director and gain exceptional exposure to the strategy and growth of this excellent business.
The position is ideally suited for someone looking to make their first, or second move out of an accounting practice and an ambitious attitude to work in an environment where ownership and exposure to business strategy will be at the heart of this position.
If you have an accountancy practice background and looking to hold a broad role that will support the development of a finance function that this is an ideal opportunity to develop your skillset in industry, whilst gaining exposure to commercial strategy.
**Salary**:£50,000-£60,000
**Location**:South Manchester
**Main Duties**:
- Working with the Managing Director regarding the growth and direction of the business.
- Preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns & VAT returns and filing other statutory documents.
- Managing a team of internal accountants and 3 accountants.
- Ensuring regular contact with each client, ensuring they receive hands-on customer service.
- Preparing monthly management accounts, cashflow statements and yearly budgets for our SME clients whilst managing weekly and monthly meetings with clients to review.
**Person Specification**:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
- Have a strong stakeholder relationship skillset when liaising with clients.
- Advanced Excel skill set.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
