The purpose of the role is to maintain all aspects of the financial systems, run exception reporting and assist with financial systems projects as required.

**Description**

Financial Systems Analyst duties include:

- Create and develop relationships with existing and potential software suppliers.
- Develop, produce and deliver internal Finance System related training material and provide Sage 200, Excel Connect and EIB training to Finance staff and Sage X3 support and training to other areas of the business, as required.
- Prepare selected audit schedules and provide external auditors with information to comply with annual audit requirements.
- Act as Finance lead in respect of any system related projects
- Management and control all modules on Sage 200 monthly and annual accounting periods.
- Management and control of Sage 200 Legal Entity, Vendor, Customer, Nominal & Bank Master Data Records
- Monitor and follow up on system generated suspense account items.
- Monitor and follow up on intercompany account imbalances, determined by system generated reports.
- Maintenance for the PO system (Sage X3), setting up new suppliers, answering all user queries and resolving issues as well as maintaining signature routes and other adhoc requirements.
- Maintenance of Excel Connect and Excel in Business (EIB) systems administration (setting up new companies, users etc).
- Performing internal audit procedures to ensure processes are being followed correctly.
- Work with the wider Finance team to design and develop internal management reports and the standardisation of any supporting templates and schedules.
- Documentation of internal processes and procedures highlighting any associated risks and control measures.
- Support the Finance team and colleagues to improve processes relating to the financial systems.
- Explore automation/process simplification initiatives relating to the financial reporting process.

**Profile**
- Have a proven track record in a similar role
- Have knowledge of Sage systems (preferably Sage 50, 200 and X3)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements
- Have strong attention to detail

**Job Offer**
