We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, IT proficient and organised individual to coordinate the smooth running of our company website and implement and drive the marketing strategy of the business.

Gardner & Scardifield is a local family owned Builders Merchants, Electrical Wholesalers and DIY Suppliers based in Lancing, but operating throughout Sussex. We have a long and fascinating history of circa 100 years, and have been under current ownership since the 1970’s.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake any task required for the continual upkeep and development of the company’s website. This will include updating content, fixing errors, liaising with customers and our branches and reviewing data and analytics
- Assist with the analysis, updates and changes needed on our Product Database for our website

**Additional responsibilities**
- Be prepared to undertake administrative or other ad-hoc tasks
- Answer phones and deal with queries into the office
- Work closely with our branches and staff to build marketing campaigns and material for them

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Numerically and commercially Minded
- Experience in Social media and digital marketing is required
- Proficiency in Google analytics is strongly desired
- Creativity for new campaigns on the website and the wider company marketing
- Good verbal communication skills
- Previous experience of working in an office environment is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task

Salary is dependent on experience
40 Hours a week, Monday to Friday

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
