Community Nursing Team Lead

We are looking for inspiring Nurses with excellent leadership skills, commitment and vision to join our team of dedicated community staff nurses.
The Team Lead will work in partnership with the service manager and community matron to ensure that the highest possible standards of practice and service delivery are maintained. As part of this, the post-holder will have a key role of managing clinical and non-clinical operational systems and processes within the team
They will use their management experience to lead on service changes and developments and contribute at a local level to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
They will lead a team, with involvement in service coordination, staff wellbeing, supervision, complaints, governance and service performance and improvement.
The service aims to provide an excellent standard of person centred planned and unplanned nursing intervention to patients in their homes and is part of an integrated service that supports patients to remain in their home environment. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in order to support the service and have a high focus on delivering quality outcomes and improving the patient experience.
You will be expected to see patients within a given geographic area and may mean that you will need to liaise with a variety of GP surgeries.
Car owner/driver and current driving license essential or access to a car (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
