As EU Client Director you will be working on one of the agencies largest clients, a collection of leading household brands. The agency runs the London hub managing a huge spend across Europe, with centralised strategy and planning and local execution. Theclient is at the forefront of strategy and digital excellence, and they work closely with them across many channels, including TV/VOD, OOH, Online Video, Paid Social, Custom Partnerships, & Influencer Programs.

This is a comms planning leadership role covering 9 markets and you will serve as a primary contact for the client and is responsible for ensuring the Market Planning team effectively execute (and maintain top performance of) all approved comms media plans.

**The role**:

- Lead annual ICP (Integrated Comms Planning) process including attending/responding to briefs, building effective planning timelines, crafting actionable audience insights based on available data, setting clear roles for recommended media channels, & blockingout full year media plan laydowns
- Collaborate with the clients creative agencies to build clear creative + strategic Experience Frameworks for all brands/campaigns, including creative format recommendations
- Create & oversee the consistent management of the clients Experience Planning Grids for all active brands, campaigns, markets, & channels
- Lead innovative media activations, in collaboration with Central & Local partnerships
- Line management of Market Planning team (Account Director & Account Manager) responsible for overseeing their collaboration with Central & Local Specialist teams to build out Detailed Media Plans with supporting rationale for partners/placements/formats
- Oversee Market Planning team in the timely implementation of all approved media plans
- Collaborate with Market Planning, Insights, Social Listening, & Specialist teams to craft & deliver quarterly digital performance & end of campaign PCH reports, with clear performance insights & optimization recommendations

**About you**:

- The Comms Planning Client Director needs to be comfortable interpreting and distilling quantitative data, qualitative research, & econometric modelling results into media responses & digital performance reports, as well as ongoing plan optimizations
- You need to be comfortable using industry & agency tools, including conducting independent desk research
- While you do not need to have multi-market experience (though it would be ideal), you must have multi-channel media planning experience. You should be prepared to develop multi-market, multi-channel media plans and will need to factor in the nuanced needsof each local market, often developing tiered approaches based on briefed budgets & target audiences.
- FMCG media planning experience is ideal, but not essential to be considered for this position, and any experience launching new products would be helpful.
