**The What...**

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and building new greenfield React projects. You will play a critical role in shaping how we approach React development as a business and will have the opportunity to mentor and share your knowledge with fellow team members.

The responsibilities of the role includes:

- Leading the development of React projects, from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to define project requirements and objectives.
- Making architectural decisions and providing technical guidance to ensure the best practices are followed in React development.
- Mentoring and coaching fellow team members, promoting knowledge sharing and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Working with stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements and provide technical expertise to drive project success.
- Staying up to date with the latest React and frontend development trends and share your knowledge within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.

To be successful, you'll have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a React developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Extensive knowledge of React.js and its core principles.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and UI testing.
- Prior experience in a mentoring or leadership role is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
