Care Assistant Recruiter for Caremark

**Salary**: £22,500 - £30,000 per annum (depending upon experience)
**Hours**: Full-time, Permanent

Caremark are one of the largest homecare franchisors with over 120 franchise offices operating in the UK and internationally. Our franchises operate in the heart of their communities as passionate ambassadors of personalised care in clients’ home. Our services range from providing that little bit of extra help with daily life to the more complex care for conditions like Dementia. Our primary objective is to deliver outstanding levels of care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement overall recruitment and retention strategy for Care Assistants (live in and domiciliary care) across the UK and abroad.
- Keeping track of current and most effective sourcing and retention strategies across industries.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge/ skills and soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
- Conduct background verifications, where applicable.
- Drafting rejection letters and maintaining recruiting metrics (cost per hire etc).
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the Operations Team.
- Being the point of contact with Indeed and other recruitment partners to organise recruitment campaigns.
- Support in launching the mobile App to the network, provide ongoing support and create strategies for referral programs.
- Where applicable, creating guidance and training material.
- From time to time, carry out duties that may fall outside the summary of the role at the request of the Directors that are within the scope and spirit of employment with Caremark.
- Follow up on interview process status and update records in internal database.

**Person Specification**:

- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
- Good knowledge of social care industry will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Points based system for recruiting talent from abroad will be beneficial.
- Hands on experience with various selection processes ( video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check)
- Strong excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search.
- Organization and project management skills.
- The ability to work on your own initiative as well as take direction from the team.
