SCIB VP Sales Trader

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**Business area introduction**

The business is responsible for sales trading our European flow and product to our client base and then acting as an agent for the client in order to fulfil their orders.

**Key activities**
- Provide internal flow and execute orders that have been sent to the desk in an agency capacity through the existing pipes.
- Expected to both attract new relationships and build on existing relationships in order to help grow the franchise.
- The sales trader will be responsible for managing each of his/her accounts, making trips to see them in different geographies and adding alpha so that Santander see more revenue generation.
- The fundamental qualities for success in the role will be : integrity, relationship building and management, attention to detail ,aptitude for numerical working, Excel and Bloomberg proficient and a team player.

**What we’re looking for**
- A Degree (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical discipline
- CISI - Corporate Finance Module (to be obtained during first 6 months)
- CISI - Regulatory Module (to be obtained during first 6 months)
- Fluency in English
- Other linguistic capabilities including spoken and written Spanish and/ or Portuguese

**What else you need to know**

This role is based in our Triton Square office in London, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
