Are you looking to make a difference? It is an important Part-Time position at the heart of a small company, combining administration and basic bookkeeping skills. 3 full days a week - ideally Monday - Wednesday. This office-based role is at the heart of the Wild Flour bakery, working closely with the Managing Director and Production Manager. You will be involved in of all aspects of the business and be instrumental in ensuring it runs smoothly.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a small business. Someone who is incredibly organised, has great IT skills (ideally familiar with G-Suite), an eye for detail and passionate about quality. The role includes some bookkeeping and therefore requires experience in both administration and bookkeeping.
**THE PACKAGE**
Job Title: Office Administrator / Bookkeeper
Salary : £25,000 pro rata (£15,000 per annum for 3 days per week)
Hours: 22.5 hours over 3 days per week - Monday - Wednesday. This is an office based role with potentially some optional additional work from home hours.
Contract Type: Part Time, Permanent
Holidays: 28 days per year including bank holidays. Plus, bakery closes for approximately 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.
Reporting to: Managing Director
Uniform: Casual dress

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Reporting to: Managing Director
**Office Administration**
- Process customer orders
- General admin duties, such as answering phones, opening post etc.
- Booking in and chasing missed deliveries / arranging collection times etc
- Contacting suppliers for the production manager
- Arranging vehicle appointments
- Ordering office supplies / stationary
- Ad hoc admin duties as required
**Bookeeping**
- Invoicing and sending statements to customers
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Creating weekly Aged payable report for Payments due
- Weekly Aged recievables report - to check aged debtors
- Credit Control
- Submitting payroll to external accountants
- Dealing with any payment queries or billing issues
PLEASE NOTE: This is an extremely varied role and you may be given other tasks to undertake which are relevant to this position. As the business develops, tasks may change and develop but will always be commensurate with the position/level of responsibility.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
**Essential**
- AAT Bookeeping Level 3 or above
- 2 Years experience in similar role
- Organised, methodical with a passion for planning
- Dynamic, self-motivated and confident working independently
- Experience of completing a range of Administration tasks
- Access to your own vehicle (remote work location with limited public transport links)
- Experience of using G-suite and google calendar
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and level-headed demeanour
- Willing to learn quickly, and be flexible in a small business
- Experience of Xero
**Desirable**
- Experience in working within a small business
- Experience in customer service role
- Experience of working in the wholesale food industry
- Experience of financial reporting
