Branch Hire Assistant

Joining our friendly and hardworking family as a **Branch Hire Assistant**, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers that have any queries or orders relating to tool hire. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service. You will need to be hands on and people focussed to be successful for this role.

**What will I be doing?**

Not one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.- You will have a mixture of internal and external work, ranging from testing tools and taking orders inside, to being outside with customers loading vehicles or even delivering their goods- Full training is provided in order to test and know how to use and give advice on our hire items- Will may be driving the Tool hire vehicle to strengthen your knowledge of our business on this management course by really getting to see all aspects of the business- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

This role is based in our Travis Perkins Wolverhampton branch, this is a growing team where you are really made to feel at home. This is a flagship branch in a very established position within their area. With this branch winning branch of the year, 4 times. They are also one of the biggest branches within our Midlands area. However, don’t let that put you off, with great staff and customer base it will be the perfect branch to start your career with us. With a team that all gets stuck in and help each other out when in busier periods. This is an opportunity for someone with little to no experience to get their teeth stuck in and develop a long lasting career with us. The team which is soon to be 36, will take you under their wing along with Mark the branch manager, to really give you the best development opportunities. They have a full tool hire with 4 staff members, 4 HGV wagons and a tool hire van deliveries are always flying out. We are looking for someone to bring confidence and customer service skills to be the front of our business working on the counter.
