**Revenue Analyst**
MRK Associates is exclusively partnered with Brittany Ferries, an awarding winning transport provider with offices in three different locations in the south coast including Dorset and Devon. Based in their Plymouth office, they are looking for a RevenueAnalyst to join their revenue management team on a permanent basis. Remote working is available for this role, however travel to the office will be required on a regular basis.
Brittany Ferries were founded in 1972 by proud Breton Alexis Gourvennec and a group of fellow Breton farmers wanting to export their cauliflowers and artichokes to the UK, in 1976 their first route from St Malo to Portsmouth set sail and then just a yearlater they begun to sell ferry-inclusive holidays. Fast-forward 50 years and Brittany Ferries is now the leading maritime carrier on the western and central Channel.
Prior to covid Brittany Ferries begun their commercial re-organisation and digital transformation with a view to modernise their processes and systems. The UK and travel sector was significantly impacted by Covid across 2020 and 2021 but the business hasused this time to reassess strategic objectives, create a new website, appoint a marketing agency and introduce club voyage 2.
The need for a Revenue Analyst is required as they embark on their restart transformation phase where you will maximise yield of their passenger tickets for designated ships or routes, create and maintain reports to track RM performance, maintain RM systemsettings and support project work as and when required. This job would suit an analytical individual with experience of revenue management processes.
The successful individual will be numerate with the ability to build reports in Excel, or other reporting/data visualisation tools. They will have good attention to detail and good organisation skills. An aptitude to learn new systems and tools is essentialfor this role. This person will be dealing with stakeholders so you must be able to communicate complex topics simply. A full driving license is required for travelling to all three of the offices.
Job responsibilities:
- Using RM system functionality to revenue manage your designated routes and ships by reviewing sales and availability against forecast and strategy to ensure yields and utilisation are maximised.
- Maintain cabin, passenger and garage inventory limits for your designated ships or routes
- Maintain settings within the RM system and input into system developments
- Input into creation of corrective actions and advise on RM functionality
- Create and maintain reports to track RM performance and to support work of other teams where required
- Maintain pricing documentation
- Support project work as and when required Performance measures:
- Achieve yield targets
- Accuracy and quality of reporting and documentation
