**What you'll do**

We are seeking to recruit a bright and enthusiastic Business Support Administrator to join our busy facilities team based in Exeter.

In this fast paced and varied role, you will provide a high level of service to both internal and external clients, providing efficient and effective administration support, including operating the switchboard and providing reception cover when required. Your main duties will include, but are not be limited to:

- Covering Reception during busy periods and planned absences, including greeting clients and visitors in a professional manner and notifying LSA's/Fee Earners of their arrival, ensuring discretion is used when dealing with clients/possible new recruits
- Keeping kitchens, client suites and common areas within the office tidy and well stocked
- Managing meeting room bookings and providing refreshments for client meetings, ordering in catering where necessary.
- Giving Health & Safety induction tours for new starters
- Liaising with clients on the telephone and in person, dealing with routine enquiries and taking detailed telephone messages.
- Taking receipt of deliveries and ensuring good stock control on all hospitality items and office supplies.
- Carrying out additional duties as and when required, including administrative tasks such as photocopying and scanning, supporting the Post Room/Reprographics during busy periods and providing assistance to the Deeds and Archiving team.

**Who you are**

Ideally with around two years' experience in an office based or similar role, you will be a natural team player who enjoys building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients.

With an understanding of the importance of client confidentiality, and a clear ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment, you will possess excellent IT skills and be quickly able to fully utilize the firm's IT systems. As a naturally confident person, you will be comfortable being the face of Ashfords' front of house, and you'll quickly understand the firm's services and be able to assist with enquires as appropriate.

Flexible and adaptable in your approach with a keen eye for detail and co-operation, you'll have a track record of producing high quality work and be proactive to requirements of clients and the business, whilst continuing to be well organised and working to tight deadlines.

**Why join team Ashfords?**

Ask our people, and they will tell you that they genuinely enjoy coming to work and spending time with their colleagues. We're confident that once you discover our open and friendly culture, it won't take long for you to feel the same.

We have a genuine team approach at Ashfords because we know that when talented people work together, we achieve more for our clients and each other. We also recognise that each of our career journeys is unique. So, we will be ambitious for you and give you the support you need to develop your career, your way.

This includes a flexible working framework giving you the freedom to mix home and office working, extra annual leave for your birthday and the option to buy more holiday.

We have a comprehensive package to support physical and mental health including onsite yoga classes and a gym at our head office, healthcare plans, an Employee Assistance programme and free access for you and up to five friends to the 'Calm' Mindfulness App.
