**Job Purpose**:
As Reprographics Operative, you will ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and produced correctly within the agreed deadlines. You will maintain a proactive relationship with our customers and the wider reprographics department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To plan and develop reprographics and printing services in line with the changing requirements of our client.
- To provide a reprographics and printing service across Linklaters to a consistently high standard.
- To deputise for the Reprographics Supervisor when the Supervisor is on leave or unavailable.
- To operation of the service, including the costing of the printing jobs coming into the reprographics department, the flow of work and the meeting of deadlines.
- To provide first aid cover for your team (training to be supplied).
- To provide advice on client requests, ensuring that work produced is created in line with Linklaters house styles.
- To maintain stock levels, to ensure operational efficiency. Inventories of all stock are kept up to date.
- To assist users with all aspects of their printing and scanning requirements
- To ensure that the service complies with legal requirements in relation to copyright, advising users and keeping up to date with changes in the law.
- To keep up to date with changes in relevant new technology related to document management, including printing, scanning and associated services.
- To attend training workshops and courses identified as appropriate.
- To work within the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act. The post holder has a legal duty to take reasonable care for health and safety of both themselves and others who may be affected by their actions, this includes the requirement to undertake health and safety training.
- To undertake other duties not specifically stated above, which from time to time are necessary for the effective performance of the department without altering the nature or level of responsibility involved.

**Person specification**:

- Computer literate in the areas of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure to deadlines and use own initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication style and ability to flex style to meet needs to different business units
- Problem solving skills, ability to use your initiative/ lateral thinking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to £33,000.00 per year
