**Directorate: Finance & Customer Services**
**Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week**
This is an exciting opportunity to work for RMBC as part of an effective and efficient Revenue and Benefits Service within the Account Management Debt Recovery Team.
Dealing with all aspects of debt recovery which includes Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Debts. You will be responsible for providing daily technical advice, guidance and support to team members.
You will have up-to-date detailed knowledge of relevant Revenues and Benefits legislation, systems and procedures.
You must have substantial experience of working in a Revenues/Benefits office or similar organisation and experience of dealing with customers in a customer focused organisation.
This management role requires the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people along with being able to work independently and accurately. You will also have strong decision making and problem solving skills.
This post is suitable for hybrid working.
