We have an exciting temporary opportunity for a Supply Planner, within the Retail sector, working in Chandlers Ford.Supply PlannerTo start asap, for a period of 3 months Hybrid working Hourly rate: £18.57/hr to £23.87/hr - dependent on skills and experienceBased in Chandlers FordMon to Fri - 36.25hrs per week Free parking when on siteRole Purpose: As a Supply Planner you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the tools to support the supply chain performance and strategy across all market areas. Maintain a central database which feeds our supply chain MI to ensure customers can always get the products they want and within agreed cost and stock budgetsKey Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

- Supports with the flow of information between Supply/finance/logistics to set sales, margin, intake and stock budgets within the business. Develop Power BI dashboards and datasets based on business requirements
- Creates and maintains reporting to deliver improvements to the quality of stock / stock turn
- Maintains and develops systems to support the stock control team to ensure best in class availability for customers across all channels
- Supports development of reporting to validate promotional set up, execution and exit across all channels
- Assists in creating MI to validate stock principles are implemented across all sales channels
- Development of merchandising and stock management principles and governance
- Support the format development programme - Deliver functional & system training to key stakeholder groups
- Contribute to future system developments Key Business Relationships:

- Work with Commercial/finance/logistics to set sales, margin, intake and stock budgets within the business. Work collaboratively with Commercial / OSC/Supply Chain teams to deliver improvements to the quality of stock / stock turn
- Work in collaboration with the stock control team to ensure best in class availability for customers across all channels
- Work with Commercial Central Planning functions to validate promotional set up, execution and exit across all channels
- Work with Commercial and BI Team to secure accurate customer facing data and content for product and projects across all sales channels
- Work with Visual Merchandising to validate stock principles are implemented across all sales channels
- Work closely with KITS, Group Supply & Logistics and Category Teams on future system developmentsIdeally you have the following skills & Experience: Experience of working in Supply Chain, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment would be desirable
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
- Competent SQL skills and experience maintaining SQL databases an advantage
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tool (Tableau, Zoho etc)
- Python would be advantageous
- Able to communicate complex data in simple and easy to understand language suitable for multiple audiences and stakeholders Knowledge of Business Objects and SAP F&R would be advantageous Proven strong analytical and planning skills Good communication and inter-personal skills
