Our client, RS Studio are an architecture and planning business based in Southampton, Hampshire. Established in 2019, they are passionate about solving the Housing Crisis and increasing the supply of homes throughout the local area. They are focusing on urban intensification, particularly in rooftop extensions, adaptive reuse and urban infill.

Due to rapid growth within the company and to be able to deliver quality residential developments, extensions and alterations for the average person, they are now looking for an experienced **Town Planner **to join their friendly and innovative team.

**Town Planner**, the role:

- Preparing, submitting and following up on Planning Applications
- Putting together Planning Statements, Design and Access Statements and other internally produced reports, assessments and surveys
- Assisting in the design and delivery of systems and systemisation of internal office processes and documentation
- Liaising with clients, consultants and statutory authorities and attend all visits/meetings required to deliver projects
- Attending Planning Committee Meetings (on the rare occasion that they arise)

**Town Planner**, the person:

- RTPI recognised qualification and membership (or eligibility for membership)
- A degree in Town Planning or a related field
- Strong understanding of UK planning laws and regulations
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Town Planning field
- Willingness to adapt to process driven workflows
- Capable of delivering and working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver schemes
- Skilled in MS Office and have excellent written and spoken English
