**Demand Planner - Hybrid** Our client an established and reputable company in the local area that is a world leader in their field holding a significant global market position and that has some of the best brands in their industry are currently looking to recruit a Demand Plannerto join their team. This is a key position within the business where you will be responsible for creating the forward demand plan to support the Supply Planning team in the delivery of optimal supply plans and the maintenance of high levels of product availability.You will be using statistical algorithms to determine best fit for the product category and sector, using channel marketing feedback and commercial sales input to determine external influencing factors to the 4-6 - 24 month longer demand plans. The role ishybrid working 2-3 days in the office. **Role**: Demand Planner **Where**: Southampton outskirts **Salary**: To £26,000pa **Responsibilities will include**: Developing a thorough understanding of the demand for the relevant channel, to enable the identification of trends in ordering, and question commercial teams on what is happening, including flagging abnormal demand patterns. Developing a strong and collaborative link with Sales Order Processing (Customer Services) and Factory Supply. Analyse and provide feedback on historic and current demand data to enable an accurate picture of true demand vs. sales to be captured. Fully integrate with the Demand Planners and Demand Control teams in sharing insights and changes in short term demand to provide data and analysis into the 3 - 24 month planning picture. Build relationships with internal commercial, supply and sales order processing teams along with external customer teams to assist in the improvement of demand and supply KPIs. **You will need**: Knowledge of demand planning and wider supply chain principles with an understanding of forecasting/demand planning tools. To be highly analytical, with the ability to present complex data concisely. A strong ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills. To be highly numerate, with strong IT skills including advanced Excel (+PowerPoint) skills. Excellent communication skills. An enthusiastic, proactive approach to work, with a positive "can do" attitude, capable of delivering results within tight deadlines. Strong working knowledge of ERP forecasting systems, SAP would be an advantage. CIPS Qualification or equivalent advantageous. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and dynamic organisation.
