Demand Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Demand Planner within Supply Chain here at Carnival UK, responsible for the CUK forecast generation process and the accuracy of the forecast resulting.
**The Role**
This role will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside our suppliers and ship inventory teams, whom you will be supporting with forecasting, monthly reporting and generating KPIs to assess trends and progress in demand. We are going through a periodof significant change and you will have the opportunity to review and improve our processes to help us streamline how we do things further. A review is required of our DP software to ensure we are achieving value for money and process support.
We will be asking you to review and create effective policies and procedures within your area of expertise to improve our forecasting accuracy. Working alongside our colleagues from ships as well as external suppliers, you will be able to build strong relationshipsinside and outside of the business.
**About You**
As a successful Demand Planner, you will be able to work autonomously as a part of a small team. You will have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in execution and an experience in an FMCG Supply Chain operations.
A concise and influential communicator, you will be commercially aware and able to network with a variety of stakeholders. You must have excellent understanding of processes design and strive to achieve greater efficiency in your work.
To succeed in this role, you must have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and enjoy KPIs, SOP, reporting and data analysis. Travel Industry experience would be advantageous. This role has been levelled at CUK08

We source and supply hundreds of millions of pounds of goods and services across Food, Technical, Marketing, IT, Ports and many other categories, driving value for money, innovation, quality and service throughout our supplychains whilst being custodians of ethical and sustainable sourcing.
Working across all categories, the Procurement and Supply Chain team are constantly listening and evolving to meet the needs of our business and we offer attractive career routes that see exceptional buyers and supply chain professionals getting to experiencethe huge breadth of experiences that Carnival UK has to offer. We also work closely with the other Carnival brands around the world and leverage the unique scale of Carnival Corporation with whom we represent half of the world's cruise capacity.
Our Facilities Team are also part of the structure. The team manages all of our facilities, including Carnival House. This includes day to day operations as well as supporting the business infrastructure in regards to health, environment, safety and security.
