**Description**
Key Responsibilities.
- Develop and manage relationships with key business Working collaboratively to find solutions which embed a culture of continuous improvement an enhance service delivery.
- Establish and manage relationships with external organisations who act on our behalf carrying out functions such as certification of accounts, and management of schemes we do not own outright to ensure maximum efficiency, compliance and recovery of costsachieved.
- Responsible for identifying and interpreting new legislation and regulations that impacts calculation and recovery of service Advise appropriate areas of the business on the resulting impact to ensure compliance and service excellence is maintained.
- Manage the Service charge estimate and actuals mailings working with the rent team and TriPartum through to delivery
- Manage the team's participation in internal and external Work with auditors to provide required information and seek out opportunities for process improvements during annual and procedural audits.
- Manage Service Charge staff through 121 and Setting objectives, coaching and supporting development, measuring progress, motivating and addressing performance issues to ensure potential is maximised
- Manage workload within agreed service standards and communicate regularly with all areas of the business who have a reliance on these processes to function effectively.
- Continually identify and seek opportunities to improve processes, procedures and systems of work for the Service Charge team, users of our services and the Group to deliver efficiency and cost saving.
- Manage and support the Service Charge team and business partners in the calculation of service charge estimates and actual Including the production and mailing of all relevant communications in accordance with the legislation that applies to each tenure.
- Manage the collation of budgets and year end accounts for external managing agents to facilitate the inclusion in service
- Support the Service Charge Officers to respond to resident enquiries about service charges either directly or via the complaints or customer accounts Alongside any you may recieve
- Manage the calculation, collection and administration of reserve fund contributions for all relevant Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and in a timely fashion and any anomalies are investigated and amended.
- Manage the production of service charges for New Build schemes in conjunction with the Development Team and the project team responsible for the development
**Profile**
- Experience of working in a finance team and establishing procedures to support company and legislative compliance.
- Experience of preparing and analysing financial
- Experience of managing staff working in an environment requiring attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
- Able to understand business issues in wider context
- Able to plan, prioritise and manage high-volume workloads with tight deadlines
- An ability to develop own and others reconciliation and spreadsheet skills.
