Billings Project Manager

This client is an international law firm with offices across three continents and they are growing. They operate in several practice areas including Finance, Shipping, Real Estate and Energy.
They have offices close to Liverpool Street, therefore convenient for commuters. The firm offers and extensive benefits package that includes 25 days holiday entitlement, staff restaurant, subsidised gym membership and good pension.
They are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced billing manager/legal project manager to lead a new Billing Project, the aims of which are to review existing processes and utilise the newly upgraded finance system. This opportunity is being offeredon a 12-month fixed term contract basis.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and rollout of new billing processes, systems enhancements, and training.
- Collaborate with the Finance Systems Team to design and implement changes.
- Ensure local and statutory requirements are met.
- Review data held within WFW and minimised data entry.
- Advise on billing best practice within the legal market.
- Scope any new reporting requirements.
- Any other tasks required by the Finance Systems Manager and Finance Director.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple billing systems and processes.
- Knowledge of Aderant and its modules Expert Billing and Paperless Billing.
- A proven track record of process design and implementation.
- An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and effectively even when under pressure.
- Strong analysis and requirements gathering skills.
- The ability to be tactful and diplomatic when in pressured situations.
- The ability to liaise and build relationships with members of staff at all levels.
