Our client, a prominent integrated wealth management and professional services group is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their Strategic Programmes team in Bracknell.

The Junior Project Manager will take control of and deliver business change initiatives under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager. You will manage either small projects, well-structured medium sized projects, or work-streams withinlarger projects. This is a key role to help the business achieve its strategic aims, and hence will have visibility both across business functions and at a senior leadership level.

As a Junior Project Manager, some of your responsibilities will be to:

- To understand the motivations for the project, the current state of play and the vision for the future to deliver the required change and the underlying business case. Help determine the resources required to deliver the project and the governance requiredto manage / control it. Support the creation and presentation of the documentation needed to gain approval for the project to proceed
- Drive forward project delivery on a day-to-day basis. Maintain control of the project - ensuring it does not step out of agreed tolerances without prior approval
- Maintain key project documents, including:

- Project scope / approach;
- Project plans;
- Risk, issue, assumption and decision logs; and
- Project Teams / SharePoint sites.
- Manage proposed changes to project scope - including escalations where appropriate
- Track project spend vs budget, raising and approve purchase orders when necessary. Organise and manage project working group meetings. Support the organisation and management of project steering group meetings. Track and report project progress as required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Experience working in a project environment, either as a project administrator, workstream lead, Business Analyst or Project Manager
- Ability to both lead projects and get involved in all aspects of project delivery - including writing business cases, collecting requirements, managing and communicating with stakeholders, supporting testing / training, overseeing project meetings, andundertaking project administration
- A basic Project Management qualification (for example, PRINCE 2 or APM Project fundamentals)
- Experience of delivering projects that:

- Are focused on Target Operating Model design and implementation; and/or
- Are associated with Acquisitions and Disposals
- Experience of working within the financial services industry

The role is based in Bracknell with regular travel to London required. Travel to other offices in the UK may also be required on an infrequent basis.
