**Junior Estimator role overview**:
The **Junior Estimator** role is a great opportunity to take ownership of daily operations, support business processes, and drive organisational effectiveness at BSRIA.

Accountabilities include coordinating activities, managing administration, streamlining workflows, and building strong customer relationships to ensure client needs are met with precision.

**What you’ll do as a Junior Estimator**:

- Support the delivery of projects by helping with operational processes, policies, and day-to-day coordination.
- Communicate with clients to gather technical drawings, building specifications, and other project information.
- Assist with preparing proposals, project documentation, and business insights for the team.
- Maintain accurate databases, records, and reports to support smooth business operations.
- Assist with collecting house plans and 2D drawings and support with estimating surface areas.
- Work with colleagues across different teams, including logistics, to gain a broad understanding of the business.
- Help monitor opportunities, collect feedback, and suggest ideas for improving processes and efficiency.
- Support financial tasks such as checking project data, preparing proposals, and assisting with invoicing.
- Use corporate platforms (e.g. CRM systems) to keep information accurate and up to date.
- Calculating areas of buildings for testing use.

**To be considered for the Junior Estimator role**:

- Qualifications in Construction Management (Level 3 in an engineering related discipline), HNC or HND in construction related areas, BSc of Science Beng in Engineering (BEng) or Civil Engineering is also beneficial but not essential.
- Strong mathematic skills
- IT skills, with some knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to stay organised, manage tasks, and prioritise workloads in a busy environment.
- An interest in creating reports or analysing information is a bonus, but not essential.
