Junior Project Manager

At GXO, we are looking for a full time, permanent Junior Project Manager with an engineering background to join our Pandora contract based in Bracknell. You will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement, innovation implementation, and productivity enhancements within our 3PL logistics operations. This position requires a candidate with strong project management and presentation skills, a logistics engineering degree, and a mindset focused on innovation and productivity improvement. Knowledge of AutoCAD is highly desirable.

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:00, however there is some flexibility on start and end times

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Lead and manage logistics engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Conduct detailed analysis of logistics processes, identifying bottlenecks and proposing innovative solutions
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and automation solutions
• Utilise AutoCAD for design and layout planning of warehouse and logistics facilities
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress of improvement initiatives
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the logistics team

What you need to succeed at GXO:

2 years experience in Logistics Engineering/ related fieldKnowledge of AutoCAD for design and layout planningGood understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics technologiesExperience in project management/ LEAN (Green Belt desirable)A mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation
